Expeller Soybean Meal: Evaluation of Holstein Cow Production and in Vitro Ruminal Kinetic

نویسندگان

چکیده

We aimed to evaluate the inclusion of expeller soybean meal on quality and milk production Holstein cows, as well estimate compare inherent parameters in vitro ruminal kinetics. Data collection was carried out a private property, interior municipality Dois Vizinhos - Paraná, Brazil. Twenty cows were used, divided into two treatments: one with other conventional meal. The design used completely randomized parity. Milk evaluated through weighing. samples collected days 0, 15, 30 45 protein, fat, urea nitrogen, lactose total solids. In kinetics convencional performed at Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná €“ Vizinhos. gas pressure volume measures taken after 1, 2, 3, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 24, 30, 36, 48 72 hours sample incubation. results obtained applied two-compartmental mathematical model no latency time first compartment for description analyzed by variance (ANOVA) compared F test. There significant difference any variables from mil when included animals' diet (P>0.05). showed lower degradation differences concentration solids milk.

In situ Evaluation of Ruminal Degradability and Intestinal Digestibility of Sunflower Meal Compared to Soybean Meal

The aim of this study was to compare the nutritional value of sunflower meal (SFM) and soybean meal (SBM) protein by determining both its ruminal degradability and intestinal digestibility. Three non lactating Jersey cows fitted with a rumen and T-type duodenal cannulas were used to estimate rumen degradability and intestinal digestibility of SFM and SBM dry matter (DM) and crude protein (CP). ...

The Effect of Soybean Meal Heating Time on the in vitro Digestibility and Ruminal Fermentation Profile

The aim of this study was to determine the most optimal heating time in protection of protein rich feedstuff on digestibility and in vitro ruminal fermentation profile. Proteinous feedstuffs used in this study is soybean meal (Glycine max). This study is designed using one way ANOVA, with five treatments of heating time (T0 (control)= unheated, T1= 10 min, T2= 20 min, T3= 30 m...

The aim of the current study was to evaluate the replacement effect of soybean meal (SBM) at different levels (0 as D1, 33 as D2, 67 as D3 and 100% as D4 based on crude protein (CP) content) by guar meal (GM) on ruminal gas production kinetics, ruminal digestibility and fermentation characteristics of a fattening diet for lambs. Three experiments were conducted. The first experiment of 144-h in...

In vitro evaluation of aflatoxin B1 effect on gas production and ruminal fermentation parameters

Background: Aflatoxins are fungal secondary metabolites negatively affecting ruminant performance; however, little information is available on their impact on rumen fermentation. Aims: This study aimed at determining the effects of different concentrations of aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) from Aspergillus flavus on in vitro gas production and ruminal fe...
